HPE has announced an integration of HPE Networking EdgeConnect with HPE Mist and HPE Aruba Central. The October 27 release brings the company’s SASE, wired-access and wireless-network technologies into a common AI-native operational framework. The initiative is intended to give network and security teams visibility into connections and applications across branch offices, campus networks, cloud services and remote locations.
The integration will make HPE Marvis intelligence available to EdgeConnect customers and add capabilities for automated troubleshooting, application performance analysis and security management. HPE says its Large Experience Model can help identify issues affecting applications such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The company is also bringing application-aware routing, WAN optimization and Security Service Edge integration into the broader networking experience. HPE Mist integration is planned during 2026, while support through Aruba Central is scheduled for the first half of 2027.
“Enterprise networks have become too complex to manage through isolated tools and domains,” said David Hughes, SVP and General Manager, SASE and Security for Networking at HPE. According to the company, the shared framework is intended to reduce the time spent switching between tools and make it easier to detect and resolve network problems. The announcement is part of HPE’s broader strategy for increasingly autonomous, or self-driving, networks.
